BALCLUTHA Trap Shooting The South Otago Gun Club held a successful meeting on Saturday, when the C. Cup Competition (for members of the local club only) was fired. E. P. Graham, of Dunedin (handicap 23), R. M'Donald, of Dunedin (handicap 21), W. Mason (II), A. Campbell (13), all registered a score of 14. Other competitors were: J. Steven (22) 13, W. Dippie (12) 11. D. Camnbell (16) 13, C. Thomson (15) 10, R. Arbuthnott fIS) 12, R. D. Willocks (11) 12, D. Radcliffe (11) 11. Four shot off. with E. P. Graham being placed first, but as he was not a member of the local club the cup went to M'Donald, with W. Mason second, and A. Campbell third. Graham won the sweepstake.
In a six-bird eye-opener, W. Mason, R. Arbuthnott and A. Campbell, each with a score of six, divided the prize. In the quail-drive (six birds), J. Steven and D. Radcliffe (six birds each) divided the prize.
