THE TINPLATE INDUSTRY
A SUPERANNUATION SCHEME (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, July 20. It is announced in Swansea that Mr William Firth, a leading employer, has offered £25,000 towards a superannuation scheme in the tinplate industry. The employers generally have offered another £25,000, and it is stated that the workmen are willing to give 2\ per cent, of their wages to the scheme.
