Rugby Football The annual match between the Tuapcka and South Tuapeka Sub-unions, played on the Lawrence Recreation Ground, resulted in a win for Tuapeka by 3 points (a try) to nil, after a closely contested game. In thq first round of the Dewars Knock-out' Competition at Tuapeka Mouth, the home team beat Lawrence by II points to 4. Waitahuua, beat Beaumont on the latter’s ground by 6 points to 3, The final between Waitahuna and Tuapeka Mouth will be played on the Lawreficc Recreation Ground next Saturday. South Tuapeka will play West Otago on August 3 and South Otago on August 31.
