PLAYERS BEAT GENTLEMEN LONDON, July 19. The Gentlemen, in their second innings, scored 89. The Players, in their second innings, lost one wicket for 57 runs. The Players won by nine wickets. The Gentlemen, in their first innings made 218, and the Players' 251 for nine wickets, declared, SOUTH AFRICA v, SCOTLAND LONDON, July 19. The South Africans are playing a twoday match against Scotland. The home team in the first innings ecoied 91 (Wass 30; Langton 2 for 29, Crisp 7 for 20). Rain stopped play. LONDON, July 20.
