HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE

REOPENING NEXT MONTH The contractors are making good pro* gress with the very extensive alterations and additions now being made to His Majesty’s Theatre, and they expect to hava it ready in good time for the opening night on August 17. The audience on that night should be quick to realise that Dunedin has a theatre —a legitimate theatre—to be proud of. The honour of presenting the first performance in the new theatre hag fallen to the University Dramatic Society, and the play it has chosen—J. B. Priestley's “ Roundabout "—is well fitted to the occasion, for it abounds in sparkling dialogue and excellent situations.
