BURGLARY IN MARYBOROUGH

COUNTY COUNCIL OFFICE RAIDED SUM OF £3B SECURED {Per United Press Association) MASTERTON, July 19. The sum of £3B was secured by burglars in the early hours of this morning when they blew open the safe in the Featherston County Council office, Martiuborough. The burglary appeared to be the work of professionals, the sound of the explosion being deadened with mats, sacks, etc. Two cash boxes were smashed to pieces and papers were strewn around.
