M‘ARTHUR COMPANIES
TO THE EDITOR
Sib, —As an investor, I naturally follow 'very closely all news relating to investments, and I am in absolute agreement with the remarks of your correspondent under the signature “Awake.'’ It appears to me thgt if a man is being allowed to call on holders of Investment Executive Trust stock, and asking them to sell, it to him so as to transfer the proceeds to M'Arthur’s new venture in Queensland, there must be something wrong with the law regarding this business. I sincerely hope that investors in this Dominion have learnt their lesson and will not be foolish enough to listen to any plausible tales that may be told them.— I am, etc., Safety. Dunedin, July 1.
