WIMBLEDON SINGLES SECOND ROUND RESULTS limited Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, June 26. The weather was fine and warm for the continuation of play in the lawn tennis tournament at Wimbledon. Crawford easily vanquished Kirby, the Australian driving powerfully and accurately. Elmer (Switzerland) had the worst of long driving duels with Quist. M'Grath won with surprising ease against so aggressive a player as Tuckey. The Hopman-Stedman match was anyone's until the third set was completed. Hopman found Stedman's forehand more severe than he imagined. The Australian was doing most of the running. The New Zealander smashed severely, but Hopman awaited his opportunity to slice and chop to gain the net. Borotra gave Menzel a fright.
