It had been suggested that a modern barometer type of totalisator machine should be installed, but no decision had yet been reached in regard to the matter. Reference was also made by Mr Green to the possibility of the Eastern Southland Hunt Club affiliating with the Asso : ciated Hunt Clubs, and it was decided to assist the club financially, as such a move would in time prove beneficial to the racing club.
