THE APPROPRIATION BILL REPORTED TO THE SENATE (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.! WASHINGTON, May 9. (Received May 10, at 11 p.m.) The Senate Appropriations Committee reported the Navy Appropriation Bill to the Senate, after restoring 23,380,000 dollars for beginning the construction of 24 new replacement 9hips, which the House of Representatives reduced by half. The Bill carried a total of £459,G06,840 dollars, the largest for the navy for years.
