A £1,250,000 scheme for the erection in Loudon of a block of flats* to contain nearly 4500 rooms has been formed by an American building corporation. The vacant site is part of the estate of the Duke of Westminster in Grosvenor road, south-west London, formerly occupied by the Royal Army Clothing Department. One of the most fragrant cargoes ever to take the air travelled recently from Bangalore to Waltair. It consisted of 60,000 roses, consigned to the Rani of Vizianagram.
