GALE IN AUCKLAND
ROUGH SEAS IN HARBOUR CARGO OPERATIONS DELAYED. (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 12. \ wind of gale force* with heavy ram, prevailed to-day, with rough seas m the harbour. Cargo work on the ships in port was delayed. Heavy seas are reported off the coast, and the Ruahine, which is due from London at 6 o clocK to-morrow morning, is being delayed by the weather. The yacht Altair, which is owned by Lieutenant Kidson, R.N., broke away from her moorings twice, but was secured by a naval launch on each occasion.
