HOCKEY
THE ALL-INDIA TEAM INVITATION ACCEPTED. (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, March 12. A letter from the All-India Hockey Federation was before a meeting of the committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association to-night. Tlie letter stated that the terms offered by New Zealand were acceptable, and that a team of 18 players, which would be fully representative of hockey in India, would be sent. Cable advice stated that the team would arrive at Wellington on May 13 for a tour of 10i weeks, leaving "Auckland on July 26. Subject to suitable arrangements being made, the team will visit Australia at the end of the New Zealand tour. Provincial associations will be asked to apply for matches before March 31.
