SPEED BOAT RACING
TO THE EDITOR
Sir,—T have read with interest the letter signed "Bailer Hoy," and on making inquiries from prominent yacht and motor boat owners find that the position, as described by him, is correct in every detail. It savours of the worst type of sportsmanship on behalf of Messrs Moller, Martin, and Bnrt that they should act as they have done to hinder this speed boat racing. Surely all the delegates of the various club's to the association are not sportsmen of this type, or docs " nrivatc meeting of tlie association " mean that only these three members attended, and that they intimidated the Port committee from start ing Miss Syndicate? Perhaps the club that is represented on the association by these three will see to it in future
that delegates arc elected who will sen that everyone, whatever the class of boat he owns, gets a fair spin.—I am, etc.. For'd Hand.
