DAMAGES AWARDED
INJURIES IN MOTOR ACCIDENT (Per United Press Association) GISBSRNE, February 22: Judgment for £SBB was given by, Mr Justice Smith in the Supreme Court today in a case in which Henry Robert Croker. sued Mrs Leone Gertrude Taylor, as the owner of a car driven by Edward Francis Riley, for damages in respect to injuries received by the plaintiff through being knocked down by the defendant’s car. The accident occurred after a dance on May 24 last. The judge held that the driver of the car had been negligent in swerving to the left when passing the plaintiff.
