WOMEN’S BOWLING
The Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association’s tournament was postponed yesterday on account of the heavy rain. The executive has decided to play the rinks on Monday and Tuesday as set down in the original programme, and on Wednesday to complete the third and fourth rounds of the pairs competition. It is hoped that finality will be reached in the various competitions on Thursday at the association’s own lawns at Logan Park. If it is necessary to make any alterations to the proposals as set out, the secretary of the association (Mr Cooke) will arrange for publication of the information.
