MANY MARRIAGES
FIGURES FOR LAST YEAR The number .of-marriages cehbrated in New Zealand in 1934 was the second largest in the history of the Dominion, according to official figures published in the Abstract of Statistics. In 1920, following the cessation of the war and the return of the New Zealand troops,. 12,175 marriages took place. Last year the number was 11.650, an increase of 1140, or 11 per cant., over those in 1933. . ‘
