YESTERDAY’S PROCEEDINGS THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL (Pee United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 22. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 P ' m ' COMPANIES BILL. The Council went into committee on the Companies (Bondholders’ Incorporation) Bill. On the motion of the Leader of the Council (Mr R. Masters), an amendment was adopted giving the public the right to inspect documents referring to companies filed with the Registrar of Companies. Owing to the difficulty of finding a suitable wording for the clause relating to the publication of the proceedings of the commission, it was decided to hold this point over until the Council met again on Wednesday. The Council rose at 3.45 p.m.
