KISCH CONVICTED A TERM OF IMPRISONMENT SYDNEY, November 28. (Received Nov. 28, at 10 p.m.) Kisch was convicted on the charge ol being a prohibited immigrant and sentenced to six months' imprisonment pending deportation. The magistrate said the only thing he could consider was the question of law whether Kisch had failed to comply with what was prescribed by the law. In regard to the language test it appeared it bad been made by a person born where Gaelic was spoken by a considerable number of people, and if that were so the test was a fair one to any person who might be able to speak or write the language. Kisch's counsel intimated his intention to appeal. MEMBER FOR COOK ELECTORATE CANBERRA, November 28.
