BRITAIN'S FINANCES
RETURNS FOR PAST WEEK (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 27. (Received Nov. 28, at 5.5 p.m.) The Exchequer returns for the past week show that, during the current financial year, the total of ordinary revenue, exclusive of self-balancing revenue, amounted at November 24 to £366,810,051, which is £2,044,652 .ess than the amount collected at the corresponding date last year. The expenditure for the same period, exclusive of eelf-balancing items, was £439,052,342, which exceeds the amount expended at the corresponding date last year by £8,109,677.
