SHOW NOVELTIES
From time to time show patrons have been entertained by performing animals, and this year visitors to the Dunedin A. and P. Show will be privileged to see the cleverest animal act of its kind that has ever visited the Dominion, in the person of “ Terangi ” and her two performing seals, Benny and Angel. These animals, only a few years old, have been thoroughly trained, and are §aid to possess an intelligence which is really remarkable. Responding immediately to the direction of his lady trainer, the king seal Benny goes through his acts in a manner which has delighted audiences on all show grounds in Australia. Benny can do anything from balancing a ball to playing a mouth organ. Tossing a ball to any person in the audience indicated with alacrity and accuracy, is just one of his many feats, and his performance in a huge tank of water is as equally good.
