A USEFUL PUBLICATION. Stone’s 1934 directory for Wellington, Hawke’s Bay and Taranaki, a copy of which we have received through the courtesy of the 1 publishers, Messrs Stone, Son and Co., Ltd., is, as is the case with all this firm’s publications of a like nature, a useful compendium of information that should prove of considerable value to the public generally and the business community in particular. Besides the usual street alphabetical and official directories, there are included in this handy volume many informative articles on. such matters as wills and intestate estates, the Impounding Act, court fees and allowances, and in addition statistics regarding the population of the Dominion and its imports and exports are fully set out. Of special interest is a statistical summary, and a clearly set out summary of meteorological observations.
