UNUSUAL CASE OF INFRINGEMENT CYCLIST TOWED BY MOTOR CAR. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 16. Two classes of traffic breaches that have not previously come before the notice of the magistrate (Mr E. D. Mosley) or the prosecuting senior sergeant were heard in .the Magistrate’s Court to-day, when Ronald Robilliard was charged that, as the driver of a motor car, ho permitted a cyclist to be towed in Papanui road. Lewin Ronald Webley, the cyclist, was charged with holding on to a car. Both pleaded guilty, and were ordered to pay costs. The police said the offence was a breach of the by-law. The cyclist had been seen by the police and told to let go. He did so, but later hung on again.
