OTAGO CLUB. A stroke competition was played on the Balmaeewen links on Saturday afternoon. H. J. Grayson, with a score of 85—11—74, was the winner in the senior section, and G. W. Bowron and S. C. Sutherland tied in the junior with net scores of 72. The only other net scores under 80 were among the seniors,, viz.: —J. R. Laidlaw, 77—2—75; J. 0. Shand, 84—9—75; J. M. Fraser, 84—8—70; J. R. Burt, 85—0—70; J. A. Scouler, 79—1—78.
