CAUGHT IN MACHINERY A married man, William Robertson, aged 40 years, residing at 9 Pollock street, Maori Hill, was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital at 10 a.m. yesterday suffering from a compound fracture of the left forearm. The injured man was attending machinery at Brinsley’s Radiation N.Z., Ltd., when his arm was caught in a belt. BADLY CRUSHED HAND Robert Walker, 51 years of age, married, residing at Irvine street, Lawrence, was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital at 6.45 p.m. yesterday suffering from a badly crushed left hand. He was engaged in shunting operations at Roxburgh, where he is employed as a guard on the railways, and caught his hand between two buffers.
