MR GEORGE H. MASON < Peb United Pkess Association.) WELLINGTON, October 19. ‘ The death is announced of Mr George H. Mason, formerly registrar of Canterbury College, and at one time president of the New Zealand Rugby Union and the Canterbury Rugby Union. MR J. 0. HYMERS (Peb United Pbess Association.) INVERCARGILL, October 19. The death occurred at Riverton to-day of Mr James Oliver Hymers, a wellknown horse trainer. He took a prominent part in the affairs of the town and was a member of the Borough Council and chairman of the Works Committee for a long period. He was 79 years of age.
