TRAGEDY FEARED
AN AEROPLANE MISSING CROSSING BASS STRAIT (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, October 19. (Received Oct. 20, at 1 a.m.) A Tasmanian mail and passenger plane which left for Melbourne to-day is missing, and it is feared that it has fallen into the sea in Bass Strait. Details at present are meagre, but it is understood that nine passengers were on board.
