OVERDUE YACHT
ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND (Peb United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 13. The schooner-rigged yacht Tahitienne reached Auckland early this afternoon, 31 days out from Papeete. She lost seven days on the trip through her forestaycarrying away, and she had only three, days’ stores left. She is in charge of Captain W. Brander, who has a crew of six natives. The vessel was built in Los Angeles in 1923 and since then has been in the Island trade. She is to be laid up in Auckland.
