ERNEST DRAKE RECITAL
After an absence of two years, the forthcoming recital by the students of Air Ernest Drake will take place in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on October •J 4. During that period many new singers have come .forward, and those, in conjunction with some of Dunedin’s leading artists, should make tin's recital one of the most interesting yet given. Mr Drake has always shown a keen interest in boys’ voices, and is bringing forward boys who are said to possess exceptional merit. The Student Choir of 70 trained voices will be heard in a selection of part-songs, one of which, it is interesting to note, has been especially arranged by Miss Bertha Rawlinson. This choir has in the past gained for itself a noteworthy position locally. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
