ROAD CYCLING
NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. (Peb United Press Association.) PALMERSTON N.. October 14. A cycle race of 100 miles to \\ anganui and back on Saturday decided the North Island professional championship. The winner of this honour is the rider putting up the fastest time, and proved to be W. Lambcrton, of Christchurch, 4hr 23min, oft’ scratch. The race was won by G. i'ufferey, of New Plymouth, off the 40min mark. Time, 4hr 55min.
