■BERLIN ZOO ATTENDANT BERLIN, October 11. • (Received Oct. 12, at 5.5 p.m.) Toto, the most popular chimpanzee in the zoo, heroically saved his keeper from death at the hands of a gorilla weighing 500 pounds. Bobby, nicknamed the .king of the monkey house, suddenly threw his keeper, to the ground, and tried to maul him. Toto seized the keeper's whip and thrashed the gorilla until it ceased its attacks. This gave the keepers time to rescue the fallen man.
