THE WEATHER
The weather yesterday was fine and warm, the maximum temperature being 60 degrees. There was a light northerly breeze, and the conditions were cloudy for the greater part of the day. The barometer fell about 20 points and registered 29.82 at mid-day. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. ((Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, October 12. Fine summer weather and a light north-east wind were experienced today. The barometer continued above normal and registers 30.10 in. WELLINGTON, October 12. It was fine in Wellington to-day, but with passing clouds and a strong and squally north-west wind. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 55.2 degrees, and the maximum temperature during the day was 58.20. CHRISTCHURCH, October 12. The weather to-day was sunny in the morning, with some cloud in the afternoon, when there was a fresh northwester, increasing in force in the evening. The maximum temperature was 66.4 degrees. The barometer is falling and now registers 29.73jn.
