LEAGUE’S BUDGETING
SEVERE CRITICISM
LONDON, September 14,
(Received Sept, 14, at 9 p.m.) The Times Geneva correspondent states that the British and dominion delegates severely criticised the League’s budgeting. Sir Ernest Bennett declared that the League was driven to estimate • for expenditure that could not be incurred and to estimate as revenue contributions it knew were not being paid, resulting in a superficial appearance of success. Sir James Parr also deplored the situation arising from the non-payment of contributions, and urged that measures be taken to deal with them.
