THE WEATHER
Dull and threatening weather was experienced in Dunedin yesterday. A light south-east breeze prevailed, and the maximum temperature was 64deg. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, September 12. Owing to an overcast sky and a fresh breeze from the south, tile weather was exceptionally cold to-day. The barometer rose to 30.00 in at mid-day and was afterwards steady. WELLINGTON, September 12.
Wellington had another very cold day with a fresh to strong southerly wind. The sky was for the most part cloudy, and in the morning there were frequent showers. In the afternoon the conditions wore slightly better, with brief intervals of sunshine. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 43.8d0g. and the maximum for the day was 4G.odeg. CHRISTCHURCH, September 12.
The weather to-day was sunny and line, with a light south-west breeze. The maximum temperature was 52.9 deg. The barometer, after falling, ie now steady at 30.15 in.
