To-day is the day of study circles both in and out of Parliament, where people gather together in serious thought and seek a solution for the many perplexing problems with which they find themselves faced. One such study circle has been established at Mornington, and the interest shown from those who attended and the desire for knowledge and understanding of the serious and important factors which affect citizens nationally, locally and individually was most marked. Mr Birrell was the principal speaker on Thursday evening, and he indicated some of the more apparent reforms necessary to improve the conditions of the individual in all sections of society, and bring a greater measure «{ economic security to all.
