MR CHARLES; ROSE Another old identity of' ‘Port Chalmers, Mr Charles Rose, died on Tuesday at his residence,; Magnetic street. He. was,7s years of age arid’was a 'highly respected resident, having; injide ibis home in the town 71 years, ago. Mr Rose was born at Back Creek, Amherst, Victoria, ip 1859. when his .parents'were on their' way to the Victorian goldfields. He came to.
