ROCKED BY EARTHQUAKE
AREA IN BIHAR PROVINCE NO DAMAGE REPORTED CALCUTTA, August 29. (Received August 30, at 1 a.m.) A large area of the northern portion of Bihar province was rocked by an earthquake of great intensity for several seconds at 9.10 this morning. The earthquake created panic among the inhabitants, who feared a repetition' 1 of the January disaster. No damage has been reported.
