OPPERMAN’S SUCCESS IN ENGLAND. (Peb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 29. The Australian cyclist Opperman is a passenger by the Rangitata, and will join the Wnnganella to-morrow for Australia, to which he is returning with his wife after a visit to England and the Continent. He will, take part in the centenary race at Melbourne. While in England he broke five records. He expresses great admiration for the French riders and for the wonderful manner in which cycling is appreciated in France.
