FIRST PRIZE WINNER. <Per United Press Association.) CARTERTON. August 28: The.winner of the £2OOO is a Native, Ernie Boyd, of Greytown, a married man. about 45 years of age, with a large family. It is reported that, he lately came into a fairly large sum from his parents estate in Hawke’s Bay, and another is supposed to be due now. Mr Boyd has a farm at Greytown, and apparently is putting some of his money into motor vehicles for the farm.
