THE AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP BUFFALO (New York ). July 29. Paul Rtuiyan. won the National Professional Golfers' Association championship by defeating Craig, 1 up in 38 holes. Runyan became the vjctor on the second extra hole when Wood missed a 7in putt.
