SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENTS
V TO THBJEDIIOt)
Sir,—l thank , "Rationalist," , who writes in your ■ issue of the , 27th inst., ;for his acknowledgment o£ my; sincerity. I -would also like to inform him that' I am not-one of the, self-righteous persons, like, the of Old,- but am rather "one who can see the "gold'.' in all human nature, and the-religion which is in imy soul helps me..to find that, whereas "Otherwise I should be likely to condemn. T am very fortunate in having got hold of the real religion as preached by the Master, and not the .organised or. fessed religion of-which "Rationalist' writes in his letter. . -I am also fortunate in belonging to a .church where' there are no pews to snore in, and which has a smiling congregation, and a minister who practises every day what he preaches and radiates happiness arid sunshine wherever, he goes. £■= Finally, I shall.always oppose anything ;that tends to degrade our young people. I only hope that .all healthy-miuded citizens will in the future do likewise.—l am* etc.. A Working Widow. '' Dunedin, July 28. .
