THE WEATHER
The weather was fine in Dunedin yesterday, with continuous sunshine and a light south-west wind. The maximum temperature . was 55 degrees, and the barometer registered 30.45 at mid-day. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, July 30. The weather was again fine and sunny to-day, but a light southerly wind made the conditions very cold in the shade. The barometer is now high, having risen to 30.30 in. , WELLINGTON, July 30. Although there was a good deal of sunshine in Wellington to-day, a keen wind from the south made for cold temperatures. The wind died away toward sundown and the night was clear and calm. I CHRISTCHURCH, July 30. The weather to-day was sunny and warm,. with a light south-west breeze following a frost of 4.2 degrees. The barometer is now steady at 30.28.
