PRIMARY SCHOOLBOYS' MATCHES. The following is the draw for the primary schoolboys' matches to be played to-morrow at 3 p.m.:— A Grade.—Maori Hill v. Kensington, at Oval No. 2 (Mr A, K. Nicolson, M. Becker (Oturehua) ; 15. Duncan (Wedderburn). MEN'S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The weekly meeting >of the Otago Hockey Association Executive Committee was held last evening in the Y.M.C.A. There were present Mr Payton (in the chair), and Messrs Warrington, Brow:). Twose, Pickup, Dcnsern, Dey, Cailou, Allen, M'Quecu aud H. Sew Hoy (secretary). A protest was received from the Caversham Club, allegiug that C. Whitburn, an Albany player, while refereeing the match Caversham v. Albany, offered advice to members of the latter team, and generally conducted the game unfairly. A letter was also received from Whitburn, who denied the allegations of the Caversham team. and. declared that be had had occasion to warn the Caversham team for appealing against his decisions.—lt was decided that Mr Whitburn was thoroughly capable of refereeing a junior match, and that his explanation be accepted. •' The selection of the following Otago team for its match oh August 4 was. approved:—Pickup, Wadham, Whitburn, Gurr, Ward, Butler (captain), Botting, Itcnniek, L. Silver, Gray and Dey; emergencies—Allen, Walton and Kerr. The question of referees not attending at their proper matches was unfavourably commented upon by Mr M'Queer., who pointed out that protests such ns had been received from Caversham were inevitable if spectators offered their services and were accepted. It was decided to ask the Southland Association to provide a limited number, of billets for the teams on August If*. The Canterbury request for billets .was referred to a sub-committee composed of Messrs Gallon, Densem," M'Qucen, Alien and Brown. Arrangements for ..the •*!- terta'inment of visiting teams were finalised. 1 ' . - / Mr Brebner was appointed as line umpire for next Saturday's representative match. . The Match Committee advised that in the Second Grade Technical College Old Boys B had 18 cup. points and University C 16. —It was decided that these two teams play ioff next Saturday.
