I ODNDITIONS ;TN CENTKAL OTAGO . Devotees of ice sports in Central Otaga have been making the most of the favourable conditions prevailing inland. 'A. great deal . of' interest was ;, created, by the appearance' of'ah ice-planV. which in its structure resembled 'an aeroplane and which attained tremendous speed on the ice.. .;.; ■'.. . The L6wer Manorbnrn dam, -on th« Galloway Flat about three miles from Alexandra, was in perfect condition for skating on Sunday, and about 300 peopla were present from the.surrounding district. '■■ The Australian curling party left Oturehua oh Saturday for Naseby, where they will remain .till, the middle of this week, after which they will return to Dunediri to commence their return journey to Australia.
