THE MOURNING BRIDE
Miss Alice Watson, of Hemsworth, Yorkshire, should have been on her honeymoon on May 8. Instead, she went to the funeral of her fiance at South Kirkby. He, "Richard Freeman, died on the eve of their wedding from double pneumonia. He was 30 years of age. He took out a special license for the marriage. When he reached home with the license in his pocket he fell ill.
