FORMER PRESIDENT CONVICTED MISUSE OF THE FUNDS. NEW YORK,. June 19. (Received June 20, at 9 p.m.) Joseph Harriman, the former president of the bank bearing his name, wae convicted in the Federal Court of the misuse of the institution’s funds, which resulted in its collapse in 1933, with losses of many millions to depositors. He was found guilty on 14 counts and faces a sentence of from five to eighty years’ imprisonment.
