EX-QUEEN OF SPAIN
PROPERTY TO BE RETURNED
GOVERNMENT’S DECISION,
PARIS, June 19.
The Spanish Government has consented to return to the ex-queen all her and her daughter’s personal property left at.the Royal Palace at Madrid. Some 107 trunks have already been sent to France. This is the culmination of the British Ambassador’s unofficial negotiations with the Spanish Government. He was acting as a friendly intermediary, not in the capacity of ambassador.
