STORMS IN INDIA
FIVE PEOPLE KILLED THOUSANDS HOMELESS. CALCUTTA, June 19. Severe storms in Bengal, South India, and Assam caused serious damage. Five people, were killed in South India. An area of 250 square miles in the Comilla district is entirely covered by flood water. Crops were destroyed and thousands of people are homeless in South India.
