LETICIA DISPUTE
A PEACEFUL SETTLEMENT COLOMBIA FLAG HOISTED. LETICIA, June 20. (Received June 20, at 11.15 p.m.) This jungle village, which has been the subject of a dispute between Colombia and Peru, was formally turned over to the Colombia authorities on Tuesday after one year under League of Nations administration. The League flag was lowered and the Colombia flag hoisted after a toast of friendship was drunk by representatives of Colombia, Peru, and the League, The agreement to settle the dispute over Leticia peacefully was reached a month ago by Colombia and Peruvian representatives.
