SCIENCE INCREASES YIELD LONDON, Mar 28. Drawing attention to the development of Soviet textile . industries, the Yorkshire Post comments on the increase in Russia of home suppliesof raw material for. woollen and cotton goods. . . . The Moscow Narodny Bank claims that technical improvements .have increased the yield , of raw materials by 10 per cent, in a few years. Forty per cent, of weaving will be done on automatic,,looms by the end of the second Five-year Plan. . Capital investments in the Soviet woollen industry have increased to 61.000. roubles, compared with 38.000. in 1935.
